Maggie Whiteley

Maggie has a thriving international coaching practice as well as running personal and business development workshops.  Her clients tend to be (or want to be) agents of change, wanting to make a positive difference through meaningful contribution to the world. She coaches people towards creating a truly fulfilling life when they are no longer content with an impressive lifestyle.

Maggie started her professional life as a teacher. After completing her M.Ed. she discovered that she had more letters after her name than in it and figured this probably qualified her as an expert. At thirty she managed to convince others of this and was appointed to head the Drama Department in a College of Higher Education.

In the late 80s she moved to Spain where she managed one of Europe’s longest standing and most prestigious alternative holiday centres.  Fascinated by the power of group work and personal growth she trained extensively in humanistic psychology. She is also a graduate of Coach U, one of America’s leading coach training schools and has done further coach training in Positive Psychology.

Maggie still lives in Spain, in a restored farmhouse in rural Andalucia where she lives simply with her teenaged daughter and an absurd amount of rescued cats and dogs.
